Avocado Lime Ranch Dressing

Over the summer, I became obsessed with Chick-fil-A’s Avocado Lime Ranch Dressing. So, instead of going to Chick-fil-A every other week asking for more and more dressing packets, I decided to try to make it myself. And, I have to say, this recipe is pretty darn close, and very easy to make.

I adapted this recipe slightly by using a blender instead of mixing by hand. I found that when I mixed by hand it was still very lumpy with chunks of avocado. The blender made it perfectly smooth.

1/2 of 1 avocado

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup buttermilk or yogurt**I used plain Greek yogurt**

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon cumin powder

2 teaspoons lime juice

Scoop avocado and add mayonnaise and yogurt to a blender. Add spices and lime juice. Mix. Add some milk to get the correct thickness.

Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Enjoy atop your favorite salad!
