Cheesesburger Pie

Well, it’s the holidays already! Happy Holidays! This officially means you’ll be pressed for time, all day, every day until, well, December 27th? When does it end???

This Cheeseburger Pie is a great easy recipe that gets the job done. It takes no time at all; serve it up with some fries and maybe a side of Brussels sprouts, and you’re good. It also reheats in the microwave pretty well, which is not something I say often.


1 lb ground beef

1 large onion, chopped

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

1/2 cup Original Bisquick™ mix

1 cup milk

2 eggs


Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray.

In a skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Stir in salt. Spread in pie plate. Sprinkle with cheese.

In a small bowl, whisk Bisquick, milk and eggs until blended. Pour into pie plate.

Bake for 25 minutes. Enjoy!
